Application FAQ’s
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we hear from applicants. Please read the application requirement summary page and if you have more questions, contact us by email or through our contact form.


Are you a Listing Agency?
We are a property management company. We do not charge for information on any of our vacancies. Any person or company charging money for information on any of our properties is doing so without our permission or consent.
How do I know if a property is still available?
We receive applications and vacancies constantly, so please check our website for the most current information.
How long will it take to process my application?
Ramona Property Managers, Inc. processes applications as quickly as possible. The application process should be completed within 3-5 business days from submission of your completed application and payment of the application fee. Please make sure the application is complete including all information from references, current and prior landlords, employer, credit report, etc. Most delays are aused by incomplete information or bad references.
Where can I get a rental application?

Do you need to run credit?
Credit scores and payment history doesn’t tell the whole story, but it tells an important part of the story. For this reason we run credit reports on all applicants over the age of 18. No exceptions.
Can I submit an application by email?
An important part of tenant screening is proper applicant identification. For this reason, applications must be submitted to our office in person.
What are the qualifications to rent?

Can you hold the property?
In limited cases we can hold a property up to 48 hours before denying an application.
What if I have special circumstances?
If you have a special circumstance we should consider when evaluating your application, write a letter explaining your situation and submit it with your application. Our contract with the property owner makes it very difficult if you have a negative credit rating or are not fully qualified. The more information you can provide to explain your situation, the better chance you have of being approved.
What if I’ve never rented before?
In limited cases we can accept applications that have no rental references provided you have good credit and/or have a verifiable source of income.
Are pets accepted?
In limited cased with increased deposit.
