Tenant Notice to Vacate

Thank you for your tenancy with Ramona Property Managers, Inc.

 

We’re delighted to have had an opportunity to work with you, and sorry to learn you’re moving.  To facilitate the termination of your tenancy, please complete the form below to notify us at least 30 days prior to your final day of occupancy.

 

Review your lease or rental agreement carefully, as all the guidelines are outlined in that document directly.

USE THIS FORM TO PROVIDE RAMONA PROPERTY MANAGERS, INC. AT LEAST 30 DAYS NOTICE OF YOUR INTENT TO VACATE PRIOR TO THE END OF THE LEASE OR if ON A MONTH TO MONTH TENACY.

I have read my Lease / Rental Agreement and Understand the following:
  1. that a Thirty Day Notice of Intent to Vacate is required by Section 1946 of California Civil Code for month-to-month tenancies and by the Lease Agreement for fixed-term tenancies;

  2. tenant(s) cannot use the Security Deposit as last month’s Rent. Rent is payable through the termination of the tenancy;

  3. for Residents on a fixed-term lease, a Thirty Day Notice of Intent to Vacate does not release Resident from any obligation of the Lease, including payment to the end of the Lease term;

  4. resident remains in possession of the property, and the tenancy does not terminate, until all belongings are removed and all keys, garage and gate remotes returned to the Property Management Office; and

  5. except as provided by law, rent is due and payable up to and including the date of possession, or thirty (30) days after Tenant's) deliver this Notice to Vacate (completed and submitted), whichever is later.

Pursuant to California Civil Code section 1950.5, you have the right to request the landlord or landlords agent perform an initial inspection of the premises you were occupying for the purpose of identififying deficiencies and giving you an opportunity to remedy any deficiencies to avoid deductions from your security deposit. This inspection shall take place no earlier than two weeks prior to the termination of your tenancy during normal business hours at a mutually agreeable time. If you would like to do the work to remedy any identified deficiencies, you must do so at your own expense and you agree to idemnify, defend and hold harmless the landlord and or landlords agent from any cost, liabilities, etc., which may result from your election to do this work. For your protection you should use only licensed and properly insured professionals.

Forwarding Address
Providing a forwarding address is optional, but highly recommended. Ramona Property Managers will forward any security deposit to the last known address on file in the name of all tenants who signed the lease. Ramona Property Managers does not split security deposits.

We will acknowledge this Notice within 48 (business) hours of receipt. Please contact us via the Tenant Portal if you do not receive our confirmation.
