Why Ramona Property Managers?
Ramona Property Managers has been in the same location since 1960. Over that time, we have managed just about every conceivable type of property and portfolio legally available. Our clients have included family trusts, corporate trusts, City housing agencies, non-profit organizations, retirees, new investors, veteran investors, accidental landlords, multi-generational landlords…and the list goes on.

 

Professional property management is what we do.

Am I Locked In Long Term?
Our goal is to be your #1 resource in property management. If you don’t like the way we do business or we just don’t see eye-to-eye on how to manage your property then we should be able to shake hands, walk away, and be accessible.

 

We also need a fair chance to do what we do best and for that we need a little bit of time.  All we ask is a minimum commitment of 6-12 months then our agreement automatically goes month-to-month with no fees or penalties.

Do I Get To Choose My Tenants?
Fair housing laws and regulations are very strict and prohibit any discrimination of tenants who are members of a protected class. The laws are complex, always changing, and there are many variations from city to city.

 

By choosing which tenants rent a home, landlords are immediately telling tenants the management company has no authority and questionable judgement.

 

Ramona Property Managers ensures all our owners are in compliance with these laws while still making sure each tenant is extremely well screened so we must answer this questions with a respectful, but firm, “no thank you”.

After A Tenant Pays Rent, How Fast Do I Get My Money?
We close our accounting cycle at the end of each month and disburse funds through a secure ACH transfer directly into your bank account no later than the 5th day of the following month.
How Do You Handle Maintenance?
Eventually the toilet is going to run, the sink is going to drip, and a pipe is going to bust.

 

For the protection of your property and to comply with health and safety laws, your property management company MUST have strong maintenance protocols in place.

 

Our procedures and systems clearly define when repairs are tenant vs owner responsibility, what constitutes a maintenance emergency, when to repair vs replace, and when you (as the owner) should be involved.

 

We handle all repair issues and don’t bother you for items under $1000
